The owners of 1000dollarwebsites.com.au have been doing business online for over 6 years, as largely self taught, online entrepreneurs. It was quickly discovered that there are many different ways of creating websites, and unfortunately this is largely unknown to Joe Average business owner.

It is very easy for a business's online budget to get consumed with the "normal" way of going about getting a website, and unfortunately, this is the most common reason for online business failure.

Below we have described how we build our sites, and why we use the methods we use - you will find we use the same methods for your website as we do for ours - we are very good at what we do.

The engine:

Most web design firms will engage technical staff to sit with you for a brief then go back and code your website 1 line at a time. This takes hundreds of man hours and is entirely unnecessary. Our solutions are built using the most popular website Content Management System (CMS) in the world, which allows us to focus your online budget to more productive avenues. No need to pay a development team to reinvent the wheel.

The design:

We find that the vast majority of our customers do not have specific needs where the layout, colours, location of content etc is concerned. The design brief is very simple. "Get me online, with a site that looks good, and something that I can update myself later."

To do this we utilise pre-existing templates to customise a unique business website that looks great, is functional, and is optimised for search engines to find. (This website is a perfect example of our work). That bloated, latte sipping, graphic design department, charging criminal rates to justify their existence, will have no place in our business.

The content:

Really, this is the easy part. Just tell us what pages you want, send them to us in a txt file and we will do the rest! Our packages all include up to 10 pages inserted by us for free to get you started, you can of course add unlimited content to your website yourself - we impose no limits on your site!

The hosting:

We maintain webservers with a few different hosts both locally and overseas for premium redundancy and support. The volume of accounts we manage allows us to keep our costs low, with several packages available to you. On top of this we do not host accounts on our servers that do not have websites created or administered by us. This allows us to further secure our hosting by not having to worry about insecure users.

Emails:

Many companies charge an arm and a leg for email accounts with the hosting they provide, with us, you are free to manage as many as you legitimately need.

For a small setup fee we can even set your domain up to use Googles powerful free email service "Gmail" to manage your email allowing you to access your mail anywhere! There are many advantages to allowing Googles Gmail to manage your email, and you can still keep your domain name (ie This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
